NJ Youth Sports TrainingChampion Athletes Sports Performance Programs are designed to help you achieve both your short term and long term fitness goals. We emphasize proper form and technique. Each program is designed around the individuals unique needs and goals.

Through a carefully developed program not only will you get stronger, faster and more agile, you will decrease your risk of injury and increase your recover time.

Our Sports Performance programs are designed for each of our athletes after a comprehensive assessment.  The comprehensive assessment allows us to develop age appropriate strength and conditioning programs. 

Strength and Conditioning Program

Our Strength & Conditioning Programs are personalized 1hr. sessions based on our comprehensive assessments. Athletes are placed in small, semi-private groups of between 2-6 athletes based on skill, age, goals and the individualized program. The first 40 minutes of each session are general movement and strength or conditioning exercises. The last 20 minutes is devoted to exercises for each individual in the group based on their individual assessment.

One-on-One Training                                                                    

We provide one-on-one training for those athletes who want to train specifically for one or two sports or those who need to lose weight and get fit. This training is completely customized to each athlete after our comprehensive assessment. This training is conducted in one hour sessions with one of our sports performance coaches. Unlike a traditional personal trainers our staff is trained to work with athletes and former athletes specifically. We understand your goals how your body works and how to get the most out of every workout!

Speed & Agility Training

Athletes to often focus on just lifting weights to improve athletic performance. Speed and agility play a crucial part in translating the explosiveness and strength earned in the weight room onto the practice field or competition. We focus on correct running technique and speed development to ensure our athletes are not making any movement mistakes that can rob them of speed, agility and power.

NJ Speed and Agility TrainingSimple angle changes, arm action and knee drive can instantly make an athlete run faster and with more explosiveness.  Straight ahead speed work focuses on how fast an athlete can run without stopping or turning. We focus on breaking down the 3 phases of sprinting: drive maximum velocity and maintaince. This not only allows are athletes to become faster and maintain their speed over large distances but it also helps them maximize their endurance by reducing excessive and draining movements.  

Our agility training allows athletes the ability to change directions quickly and safely while maintaining the ability to change speeds.  The majority of non-contact injuries in sports occur during lateral movements and changes in direction.  Our system focuses on strengthening the stabilizing muscles in the joints as well on the form and technique needed to accomplish these quick changes in direction.
